Cheddar Chive Drop Biscuits

These easy drop biscuits come together fast and are perfect for dinner, lunch or breakfast.

Ingredients
2 cups flour, spooned and leveled
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ cup butter
1 cup buttermilk, cold
1½ cup Borden® Cheese Finely Shredded Mild Cheddar Shreds
2 tbsp. chopped chives

PREHEAT oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

MELT butter.

COMBINE flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and garlic powder.

WHISK butter together with buttermilk, once butter has slightly cooled.

POUR buttermilk mixture over dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

FOLD in the Borden cheese finely Shredded Mild Cheddar Shreds and the chives, Don’t overmix the dough.

DROP heaping spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet.

BAKE for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
