1 | medium red onion, peeled and cut into thick slices |

1 lb. | ground beef, 20% fat, formed into 4 patties |

4 slices | Borden® Extra Sharp Cheddar Melts |
2 | brioche or potato burger buns, toasted |
½ cup | chopped green onions |
4 tbsp. | sriracha mayonnaise |
2 leaves | green leaf lettuce |
2 slices | beefsteak tomato |
4 slices | bacon, cooked until crispy |

HEAT
a grill to high heat. Brush the onion slices with olive oil and grill for 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until the onion has begun to caramelize.

SPRINKLE
the hamburger patties with salt and pepper and add the patties to the grill. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove from heat and top each patty with one slice of Cheddar Melts.

PLACE
the buns, cut side down on the grill for 1 minute or until toasted.

SPREAD
the insides of the buns with the Sriracha mayonnaise. Layer lettuce on the bun bottoms, top with a slice of tomato, 1 burger, 2 slices of bacon, a second burger and ½ of the onions and the top of the bun and enjoy.
