Meat Lovers grilled Cheese

What makes grilled cheese better?  How about two of your favorite meats!

¼ cup salted butter, softened
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 pinch Italian seasoning
8 slices crusty sourdough bread
16 slices Borden® American Melts or Borden® American Singles
8 slices beefsteak tomato
8 slices smoked ham
8 slices bacon, cooked crisp
COMBINE the butter, garlic and Italian seasoning in a small bowl and blend well.
SPREAD a thin layer of garlic butter on 1 side of 4 slices of bread, and place the bread butter side down on a cutting board.
TOP each slice with 2 slices of American cheese, 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of bacon, 2 more slices of cheese and another slice of bread.
SPREAD the tops of the sandwiches with the remaining garlic butter.
HEAT a large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Place the 4 sandwiches in the skillet and cook covered, for 2 to 3 minutes or until the bread browns. Turn over and cook for another 2 minutes or until the bread browns and the cheese has melted.
SLICE in half and serve immediately.
