2 slices | of bread (white, wheat, or multigrain) |
2 slices | of Borden Cheese® of your choice |
1 tbsp | unsalted butter (we recommend Plugrà® European Style Butter ) softened OR 1 TBSP mayo |
Optional add-ins: | sandwich meats - bacon, turkey, pulled pork!?, tomato, onions, avocado or kimchi |

HEAT
skillet or griddle over medium heat

SPREAD
butter or mayo on one side of each slice of bread
|

PLACE
two slices of bread, butter side down on a plate or cutting board

PLACE
one slice of Borden Cheese on ONE side of each sandwich

ADD
any optional toppings and one last slice of cheese on top.

ADD
another slice of bread on top, butter side facing outward.

PLACE
sandwich on preheated skillet or griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes each side.
Lightly press down gently on sandwich with a spatula while cooking to melt the cheese better.

RREMOVE
from the skillet or griddle and cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
